This Sterling Silver ring is hand made in Scotland in the Ringerike viking art style, weighs 9.9 g approximately and is hallmarked.
The first half of the 11th century featured the Ringerike style in Viking art. Lion-shaped beasts still appear as well as plant motifs and foliage patterns. Also during this time, rune stones became more prominent and were decorated in the Ringerike fashion. Ringerike animals are exceedingly curvy and thin with almond-shaped eyes and thinner, longer tendrils.
This ring is adjustable and will fit most larger fingers, but bending it repeatedly can weaken the metal. It is recommended to only bend it one time to adjust the fit to the finger you've chosen and not to bend it again to suit another finger as repeated strain will weaken the metal.
