We're planning a 3 day Viking festival, focused around a great Viking Feast each night, the Gods and Viking activities. Because sometimes you just need to do Viking shit with your Viking friends, right? After the last couple of years we've had... it's more needed than ever and we will take every precaution to ensure this is a safe event to attend in line with government guidance.

Here’s the plan.

The Vikings were known for many things, and their desire and ability to party is one of them. We will bring some more of that into our modern Viking culture with the Valhalla Viking Festival. We have plenty of activities, live entertainment, workshops and plans throughout the day with a Great Hall Feast in the evening only to rise again the following day and do it all again!

This festival will be a 3 day camping event running in July 2023. Each evening a few hundred Vikings will line the long tables of our Mead Hall to eat and drink together in an epic feast followed by like bands on the main stage.

During the feast, the food, mead and ale will flow freely! That's right, FREE Booze! The goal is to create an amazing Viking experience where you can be your most Viking self with a few hundred other Vikings, Pagans and Heathens. Why? You ask... Because it will be awesome! (and the closest we can get to Valhalla while in Midgard)

Sounds good you say, but what else will be going on? As this festival is for Vikings, Heathens and the wider Pagan community, we will be making sure that there are plenty of activities to do throughout the weekend, and some amazing entertainment too.

Fancy ritualistically walking hot embers from a great fire? How about breaking an arrow with your throat? If that's not for you, the plan is to have archery sessions, axe throwing, blacksmithing experiences, traditional Viking games, battles, Viking boat burning, live bands and other activities throughout the weekend. The more of our fellow Vikings join, the more things we can organise for you to enjoy.

If you need to take a break and enjoy some entertainment with a horn full of mead, then you can enjoy the assortment of fire dancers in the evening, or hear tales of the Gods and the great Vikings before us told by traditional storytellers around a fire in the woodlands onsite surrounded by giant statues of the Norse gods. Maybe you'd prefer to hang out with the wolves and ravens, or do some battle training with some fellow Viking warriors?

If you want to pay your respects to the Gods, then you can do so near the great wood carvings of Odin, Frigg, Thor, and Freya.

Most importantly, you can chill out around one of the fires and get to know your fellow Vikings over a horn of five of mead.

If this sounds like something for you, then sign up to the festival mailing list to stay in the loop!

How are we making this happen?

The ONLY way Valhalla (a volunteer organiser, self-funded and non-profit event) can happen this year and beyond is to sell enough tickets. This is a not-for-profit event so the more tickets sell, the better the festival gets for us, you and your fellow Vikings.

Here's how you can help.

Spread the word. Tell EVERYONE you know that would be interested about what Valhalla Vikimg Festival is doing. The best chance we have of selling enough tickets to put on this amazing festival is to be making sure people know about what we are planning. So please tell your friends, and get them to ckme or sign up to our mailing list.

Want to play a bigger part?

If you're interested in volunteering or helping us organise the festival, then we will be looking for volunteers who will have a chance to shape this festival and make sure it's the festival YOU want it to be. We'll be giving more details about volunteering via the mailing list, so please signup. There are many benefits to volunteering during the event too, just sign up to the mailing list and all will be revealed in due time.

If you're keen to do even more to help, then please browse SkullVikings and treat yourself to something, as we need all the cash we can to keep working hard on making this not just happen, but to be awesome. A part of our profits are going into sponsoring the festival.

Please direct all your Festival questions to the festival organising team at info@valhallavikingfestival.com

We hope you'll join us at Valhalla Viking Festival 2024!
