Brass Jörmungandr Neck Torc
Viking Torc or Neck Ring with two Jörmungandr Heads. Archeological finds featuring representations of the Midgard Serpent were found in places such as Uppsala, Valsgärde, Sutton Hoo, Sweden.
According to Norse mythology the God Odin threw the sea serpent into the ocean. The serpent grew so large that it was able to surround the earth and grasp its own tail. During Ragnarök the beast causes a deluge resulting in submersion of the world. Afterward, a new world resurfaces.
The neck torc is made from twisted brass wires with the beast heads representing Jörmungandr and is made to order, to fit perfectly once ordered making it a special piece.
