Carved Horn Tankard (Large)

These natural horn tankards have a carved design into rough horn on the top and polished horn on the bottom. The design is hand carved into the tankards. The bottom of the tankard is made out of black resin and it adds to the sturdy build of the tankards.
The tankards are suitable for drinks such as mead, ale and wine. They are not suitable for strong spirits, hot drinks or fizzy drinks which may affect the horn.
This is a natural hand crafted product and there will be variation in size, shape and colour to that shown in the image but the carved design is the same. As it it a natural product and hand made there are normally occuring slight variations and marks, bumps, scratches in the horn or marks in the resin.

Horns are by-products of the meat industry. Our horns are salvaged from this so instead of going to waste, they are cleaned, reconditioned and turned into a beautiful vessel to start a new life. They're hand crafted of natural materials (ox or cow horn) so are likely to present some marks from the previous life or crafting process. None have a perfectly smooth finish by the very nature of the items which adds to their rustic charm. Each is handmade, beautiful and unique. All our horns are cleaned, sculpted and polished by our craftsman to a beautiful finish and are safe to drink from.
