Bone Comb
Combs are one of the oldest tools mankind knows. In medieval times they have not only been used for human hair but also to prepare wool and other natural fibres for spinning and felting. Our reconstruction of an early medieval Viking comb is handmade from genuine animal bones.
This kind of comb was very popular with Vikings and it follows the original discovery in size and shape.
The comb is strengthened at the ridge by riveted straps. But nevertheless it’s necessary to handle the fragile material with care. Bone combs facilitate detangling unruly hair with wide-toot designs that smoothly glide through your hair. these combs are anti-static making them great for frizzy hair or beard hair and will not melt with hot styling tools.
