Amber was often used by Vikings for making Thor's hammers and other jewellery as it was a valuable commodity and traded all over Europe by the Vikings.

The Thor's hammer is intricately detailed around the amber presenting within it's design, runes, knotwork and a dragon's head.

Thor's Hammer, also known as Mjölnir is the legendary and fearsome weapon of Thor the Norse god of thunder and lightening, and the protector of mankind. The hammer was made by the Dwarven brothers Eitri and Brokkr.
