Fenrir is a legendary giant wolf in Norse mythology. According to legend, Fenrir was the offspring of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboda, and was foretold to cause great destruction during the final battle of the world, Ragnarok. In order to prevent this, the gods decided to bind Fenrir and keep him locked up. However, no chain was strong enough to hold the wolf, until the god Tyr sacrificed his hand in order to bind the wolf with the magical ribbon Gleipnir. Despite being bound, it was prophesied that Fenrir would eventually break free and kill the god Odin during Ragnarok. In some versions of the myth, Fenrir is also described as the father of the wolves Sköll and Hati, who are also associated with Ragnarok.

The pendant features black jewel eyes, adding a touch of sophistication to the fierce wolf design. The bail is held in the mouth of the wolf, adding a unique and intricate touch to the piece. The wolf is adorned with knotwork detail, a traditional Norse design element. The necklace hangs on a thick and sturdy box chain, available in either 60cm or 70cm lengths.

Despite his fearsome reputation, the Fenrir necklace is a beautiful and striking piece of jewelry that is sure to make a statement. Wear this pendant as a tribute to the powerful mythology of the Norse people or to channel the strength of Fenrir.
