Pewter & Leather Helm of Awe Amulet

Set beneath a smoked, transparent enamel glaze, the Helm of Awe amulet hangs on a leather cord on a loop guarded by two dragon heads in the Urnes Style. 

The Helm of Awe is a powerful protective symbol used by the Vikings for the purpose of protection from illness, and disease. In Norse mythology it is said that it is a symbol that was worn between the eyes that induces fear in your enemies, and to protect against the abuse of power.

The length of the brown leather cord is adjustable. Designed and hand made in fine English pewter (lead, cadmium & nickel compliant)
